Horrific Life Experiences…

I have a gift. People willingly share their personal stories with me without prompting from me. I’m honored to listen. Every person’s story involves hardship, loss, pain. Some are stories of rape, abuse and control. People do horrible, unthinkable things to other people. Please be kind to everyone you meet. You don’t know what lies beneath…

Reach Out…

We are in the final stages of the pandemic, and that’s something to be grateful for. Yet the damage to mental health rages on. Memorial Day…

Memorial Day is a Remembrance Day established in 1868 that officially became a holiday in 1971. We are called to remember the brave men and women who died while serving our country in the military. So however you are spending the day, with family and friends, barbecuing or on the lake, I encourage you to take a moment at 3:00 to pause and reflect. We must #neverforget…

Speaking of Kindness…

The tongue is a laser sharp instrument. It can heal or it can hurt. Your choice, but I encourage you to return kind words to others, not stinging rebukes. Both of you will benefit…
