When you look at someone, are you seeing them for who they truly are, or how you expect them to be? Prejudging is nothing new. We do it and it allows our insecurities to rise to the surface. Then comparison shows itself. Try eliminating prejudgment from your experience. Give people an opportunity to show you who they are. Look for their art and beauty. You will find it…#heart #beauty #art #purpose #energy #inspiration #encouragement #love

Restoration…
There she was, the woman caught in the act of adultery. Standing in front of her accusers, probably no more than 13 or 14 years old, wearing only a bedsheet, she knew her fate. Death by stoning. Replaying the events of the day in her mind, wondering how she could have done things differently. Finally, Jesus spoke to the riotous crowd in a firm voice, a voice of authority. The crowd of men dissipated, leaving Jesus with the young woman. He didn’t shame her further, nor did He give her a sermon on adultery. Jesus restored her…#heart #restoration #forgiveness #purpose
Comfort…
Have you seen the popular meme which reads, “The comfort zone is a wonderful place but nothing ever grows there?” Yeah, I have, too. Does reading the words make you do something new? No, me neither. Nice saying, but we grow when we are ready to grow. Discomfort can be a powerful path to growth. Maybe the meme should read, “The discomfort zone is a horrible place but everything grows from there”…#heart #growth #purpose #pain #inspiration
Action…

An Optimist’s Viewpoint…
People talk about “back in the day” like their best days are behind them. Don’t fall for that lie. As we age, our wisdom and compassion grow. We see things with a bigger picture point of view. We don’t know what the future holds, but I believe it’s something good…#heart #future #optimism #pursuit #purpose #life
Reflections…
We have a natural tendency to judge others. Our judgments might be preventing us from seeing ourselves clearly. You will usually find what you’re looking for. And remember, what we see in others exists in us…#heart #reflections #judgments #inspiration #encouragement
The Odds…
Did you realize you can do anything you set your mind to? Our minds are the portal to the spiritual world. When we commit our minds to something, we are, in effect, bringing God in to our plans. This changes the odds. We can’t miss. I never said your pursuit would be easy. But it will be worthwhile…#heart #purpose #drive #desire #odds #winning #pursuit #challenge #inspiration #encouragement #believe
