Speak!

There is much goodness in the world, but there are injustices as well. Speak up for what is good, right and noble. Speak out against injustice. Those who feel like they don’t have a voice need us to stand up for them…

Our Future…

Today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders. We are failing them. In 2016, suicide became the #2 killer of kids. In 2020 a study revealed that 78% of students felt lonely. It’s ironic that so many kids could feel lonely. We live in the most technologically connected culture ever.

The solution? One thing we can do is make certain our children feel loved and accepted. Hold them accountable for their actions, but don’t let them feel unloved because they made a mistake or two.

We must turn this around, and fast. It begins with us…

Unified…

How do you get two people who see things differently to come together? You don’t, because it’s already happening. No one is in perfect alignment with anyone else. God made us different from each other in every way. I’m guessing He likes variety, but I doubt He likes seeing his children at each other’s throats. Recognize our differences, even within our own families. Embrace the differences and unify. We are better together…

Acceptance…

In my book, “Killing My Father Then Finding Him” I wrote about the fractured relationship I had with both my parents. They were cruel and abusive, and I never felt like I was good enough. This carried into adulthood. After many years of hard, self-work I was able to rid myself of the need for the approval of others. If you are dealing with this, I encourage you to work on yourself. It isn’t easy, but it will free you from the demons inside your head. You will be free…

Anger Management

It is righteous anger to stand up for what is right and true. Our world needs to be cleaned up and the only way to do it is for enough good people to speak up. Take a stand…
