Our Future…
Today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders. We are failing them. In 2016, suicide became the #2 killer of kids. In 2020 a study revealed that 78% of students felt lonely. It’s ironic that so many kids could feel lonely. We live in the most technologically connected culture ever.
The solution? One thing we can do is make certain our children feel loved and accepted. Hold them accountable for their actions, but don’t let them feel unloved because they made a mistake or two.
We must turn this around, and fast. It begins with us…
Guarded…
On social media, we see pictures and posts of perfect lives. This is great! We should celebrate happy moments. Yet, think of how much compassion we would see from others if we sometimes showed how hellish life can be. Something worth considering…
Truth…
Have you ever heard someone say, “speak your truth?” It’s a popular saying nowadays. There is only one truth, and it isn’t subject to new interpretations. Live by the truth of our Creator…
Law Enforcement…
Police work is a calling. It has to be. Any of us would risk everything to protect our loved ones. Police officers do it for people they don’t even know. Let’s honor and show our gratitude for some of the noblest among us, our police officers, during this National Police Week!
Kindness Matters…
Every person you encounter has something troubling them. You probably will not see it on the surface level, but that doesn’t make it less real. Slow down and show kindness to everyone, even the people who don’t deserve it. They need kindness shown to them the most, and you will benefit as well…

Pursue the dreams that ignite your life. Don’t allow the projections of others to cause you to settle for anything less. Work hard, stay humble, give something back to better our community, and make a difference…
