Empathy…

Empathy is shown to others because you have a shared experience. Only a parent who lost a child can fully understand the grief and sorrow of another parent who loses a child. Or there is the joyous side of this equation. An Olympic athlete who won the gold twenty years ago can celebrate today’s winners. They know the work and discipline it took to get there.
