Yesterday I was privileged to speak to a group of foster children. It felt great to be speaking again, especially with kids. I was an insecure, angry, struggling kid myself, and because of my upbringing I connect with kids.
If a child reached out to you, please take the time to engage with them. Kids today need hope, they need validation, and they need us…

Free Yourself…
Is there someone in your life you need to forgive? Perhaps an ex, a parent, or even yourself? Forgiveness is hard. We hold onto past hurts, giving them life, but keeping the pain inside hurts us. It robs us of living fully today.
I had to forgive my parents for years of emotional and physical abuse. Fortunately, the damage they did to my self-esteem wasn’t permanent. By actively practicing gratitude, over time I was able to see my parents more clearly, understanding why they acted the way they did. I forgave them, and I was free. You can do it, too.
