Struggling Kids…
Yesterday I was privileged to speak to a group of foster children. It felt great to be speaking again, especially with kids. I was an insecure, angry, struggling kid myself, and because of my upbringing I connect with kids.

People go to palm readers and soothsayers to find out what their future holds. The predictions are wrong, of course, because only God knows how our lives will turn out. Focus on what His word says about how we should live, and everything will turn out fine…
Greed…
In the movie, “Wall Street,” the main character told us that “greed is good.” By definition, greed means a selfish desire for wealth and power. There is nothing wrong with wealth and power until you throw selfishness into the mix. Keep your motives true and noble, and should you start feeling selfish, give away what you have accumulated.
Lists…
We make grocery lists, to-do lists, and lists to remind us of the errands we have to accomplish. I keeps another list: it’s a list of people I want to interview for my podcast. It’s a list of people I want to have dinner with. A list of people whose story I want to know better. And I reach out to the people on the list, trying to engage.
