We love happy endings to movies, don’t we? Hallmark has perfected this. Do you know why we love these movies? It’s because we want restoration, we want happy endings in our lives…we want to know order will be restored and everything will make sense in the world. Trust Me!
Placing trust in another person is the highest honor we can give them. If trust is ever compromised, it’s hard to get back…
Free Yourself…
Is there someone in your life you need to forgive? Perhaps an ex, a parent, or even yourself? Forgiveness is hard. We hold onto past hurts, giving them life, but keeping the pain inside hurts us. It robs us of living fully today.
I had to forgive my parents for years of emotional and physical abuse. Fortunately, the damage they did to my self-esteem wasn’t permanent. By actively practicing gratitude, over time I was able to see my parents more clearly, understanding why they acted the way they did. I forgave them, and I was free. You can do it, too. Birthdays…
We recognize them, we celebrate them, and sometimes we dread them. We should celebrate every day we are alive, birthday or otherwise…

Memorial Day…
Memorial Day is a Remembrance Day established in 1868 that officially became a holiday in 1971. We are called to remember the brave men and women who died while serving our country in the military. At 3:00 p.m. local time, we are asked to observe a moment of silence in remembrance of them for their dedication and service to the United States. We have freedoms here in America that others don’t have. What some take for granted others cherish. It is because of our freedom that people can peaceably protest or fail to stand for the National Anthem. Whether we agree with these things or not isn’t the point. We have the freedom to choose.
So however you are spending the day, with family and friends, barbecuing or on the lake, I encourage you to take a moment at 3:00 to pause and reflect. We must #neverforget…
Entitlement…
Entitlement means you think you deserve something for just showing up. Life doesn’t work that way. Plus, we only place value in what we earn…
