On Fire!

If you believe the news stories from around the world, they would have you believe that danger lurks around every corner, and that we live in division. Turn the news off. Yes, it’s true that you cannot legislate evil out of the hearts of mankind, but I believe in the goodness of people. I see acts of kindness every day. Simple acts that help, not hurt. Get away from the negative. If something big happens, you will hear about it. Pursue what brings light and life into your life…

The first interview I did for my podcast was with Zetti. Although I had been interviewed hundreds of times, I had never interviewed anyone else. She made my job easy because she openly and transparently shared her life story. Hollywood couldn’t script a better story. Click on the link to listen. You will not be disappointed…

What To Say…

What do you say when you don’t know what to say?

Thursday evening, I received an email from a dear friend of mine. She was letting me know that her beautiful, bright 24 year old daughter had committed suicide in early July. I was stunned and extremely sad at the same time. You want to say something to take away the pain they are feeling, but there are no words. All I could say was that I would keep her and all of her family in my prayers, praying for peace and clarity. And that I was sending light and love to them.

There are no words in these situations. Just be there.
