Reflection…
It’s easy to get caught up in the busyness of life. We must slow down a little to reflect and remember how far we have come…
Commit…
Figure out what your true purpose is in life, and commit to it with everything you have in you…
Remember Me?
In 2018, my first book was published. The book is called, “Killing My Father Then Finding Him.” The theme of the book is about how I came to forgive both of my parents for the abuse and neglect I felt all through my childhood. I hid my upbringing from my friends in school. I masked it well because recently I read a short piece one of my childhood friends wrote about me and why he was buying the book. He wrote, “what I remember about John was his passion for life and his genuine concern for others.”
If you are holding onto pain from your past, I encourage you to do the work on yourself to heal. I did, and I promise it isn’t easy, but nothing worthwhile ever is.

Criticism…
Critics are everywhere. The people who bark the loudest are the ones who are insecure about you outgrowing them. Just do what’s right and pay no attention to those who criticize you.

Be Willing…
When God calls you to do something, are you willing to say yes, even if it doesn’t make sense? Our greatest growth comes from our biggest challenges. It’s in those moments of uncertainty, when we face the unknown, we grow our confidence along with our trust in Him. Trust Him. He’s on our side…
Potential…
All of us have unique gifts. We must work to develop and strengthen them. The work never ends…
