Life isn’t a spectator sport. We must play the game every day and give it everything we have in us.
All of us have unique gifts and talents. Use yours, not merely for yourself, but to benefit others as well.
Make a difference…

There is nothing in this world that can stop us from fulfilling our dreams. There are no insurmountable obstacles. Our only challenge is inside our heads. That’s right. Mindset is everything…
We honor our veterans on November 11th every year. We should honor them daily.
It’s easy to take for granted what our armed services do. We are safe from a war in our country because they protect us. Service personnel go into some dark places and do some unspeakable work. They take out terrorists and protect foreigners, too. Our armed forces are the best in the world. Period.
I encourage you to take a moment and say a prayer, thanking God for the brave men and women who serve and have served. They are honorable…
We find satisfaction after we have put in a good days work. The feeling of accomplishment is satisfying.
We must be cautious that we don’t allow our identity to be attached to our work. No, we are so much more than that. Our identity is who we are, not what we do.
Get to know yourself outside of your occupation. Examine your good qualities, and work on the characters traits you want to improve on. We are all works in progress…
We can’t stop the aging process, but we don’t have to allow it to ruin our health, either.
Age only exists in your head and your heart. Keep your thoughts on what’s true, right and noble. Exert yourself when you exercise. Eat good foods. Read books that make you think, books that inspire you. By doing these things, you will begin to age in reverse.
Try it! You will become more vibrant, and the lens you view the world through will expand…
People believe they must have everything aligned perfectly before beginning a new, worthwhile venture. Or they need more education. Or time. Or money. Or whatever excuse they conjure up.
Here’s a secret for you: you do not need perfect alignment, education, time or money or anything else. Commit your work to honoring God, ask Him for guidance, keep asking along the way, and begin. That’s it!
Then keep going, no matter what…
Everyone has been rejected, and rejection hurts. But it only hurts if you care about who is rejecting you.
Fortunately, rejection isn’t fatal and we eventually heal from it. But don’t let the pain be wasted. Use it as fuel to further your cause. Reach out to others who are hurting, not to commiserate but to share your experience, strength and hope.
I’ll say it again. Rejection hurts. Don’t waste the experience…
A husband and wife were driving down the highway when the wife says, “you’re going the wrong way!” The husband replied, “be quiet. I’m making good time!”
Will the road you are on lead you to your destiny? Don’t confuse activity with achievement. Set goals, big goals for your life. Goals that are so outrageous you must rely on the Creator to make them happen because you can’t accomplish them on your own power.
And guess what? If you keep God in the picture, and you are pursuing what is true, right, and noble, He will guide you and place the right people in your life while removing unseen hurdles. You will succeed.
Just keep going, no matter what…
The dumbest movie line ever comes from Jerry Maguire when Tom Cruise says to Renee Zellweger, “you complete me.” It sounds cute and romantic, but no human being can complete another.
We are born with a yearning in our hearts. We can be fooled into thinking we are longing for another person. In some ways we are. We are meant to be connected to others. But our desire comes from wanting to be fulfilled spiritually. Only God can complete us. Only He can fill the hole in our hearts.
Find your completion. Find God…
What you give, you get. The results are rarely immediate, but this is a universal law.
Do you want friends? Be a good friend first. Want love? Love others without expectations. Want more money? Give to worthwhile organizations such as charities and churches.
Don’t hold on to what you have been given. Give to get more…
