Worry

How much time does you spend worrying? However much that is, it’s too much. Most of us don’t have time to waste, so eliminate worry from your life.

Eliminate worry? How? Change your focus. Keep your eyes on the Word of God. There are 365 times in the Bible we are told to not be fearful. That’s one time for every day of the year. I don’t believe that’s coincidental.

Peace of mind will replace worry. It doesn’t happen overnight, but it will happen if you commit…

Texting

Texting has made us lazy. Texting is convenient for quick check-ins, but they aren’t conversations.

Electronics have practically taken over our lives. Email, ZOOM and instant messaging are great for saving time. Yet, we need to make time for others. We need human connection, and you cannot get the same effect from a screen.

Replacing the sound of another voice seems to be the norm nowadays. Let’s change that…

Unguarded

We erect walls around ourselves to keep people out. If people get too close and see inside, they might not like us.

When you allow your guard to come down, it encourages others to do the same. We have an opportunity to connect at a deeper level. This creates intimacy. Deep down, don’t we want people we can be close to?

I encourage you to be unguarded. Some people will be judgmental. Those aren’t the people for you. Find your people…

How Is It Going?

We are seven weeks into 2023. Did you make any New Year’s Resolutions? It’s estimated that 95% of resolutions involve fitness. That’s a good thing.

The bad news is, about 90% of fitness goals are abandoned before the end of January. Old, bad habits return, and self-esteem takes a hit.

Getting fit and staying healthy should be fun! But so many people go about it wrong. They start jogging and eating like a rabbit. Where’s the fun in that? Not to mention you won’t get the results you desire.

Here’s some advice: get a trainer who understands your fitness goals for your body. They will make a plan, and guide you through exercises which will strengthen you and benefit you in the long term. You need to lift weights, and you need to eat. Lifting will make you hungry as hell. Don’t starve yourself! Eat!

If you have given up on your fitness goals for 2023, I encourage you to try again. The only failures are the ones who quit…

Proactive

Are you a proactive person or are you reactive? It might depend upon the situation.

Proactive people get things done. They don’t wait around to see what life sends their way. Being proactive means going after what you want.

All of us are reactive sometimes. Life isn’t predictable, so when plans go awry we adapt.

If you aren’t living the full life you desire, you can change things if you’re willing…

Unseen Battles

Are you aware there is a spiritual battle going on around us that we can’t see? That’s right. When horrible things happen, there is a spiritual cause. Just because we can’t see it doesn’t make it less real.

We have an invisible enemy who desperately tries to destroy us. He has many weapons: death, disease, addiction and more. He doesn’t hesitate to use any and all of them.

The good news is, we worship a God with unlimited power. No demon can stand up to Him, nor can they thwart God’s plans for our lives.

We access God’s unlimited power through prayer. Use it. Often…

Dreams Have Power

Our dreams for our lives have power. But how do we harness that power and turn our dreams into reality?

Accept that your mind is exceptionally powerful. The key to manifesting our dreams comes from our minds. We must see ourselves with a successful outcome, and we have to feel it, too. Whatever it is, believe you have already achieved it, hold on tightly to your vision, and work like hell to bring it to life.

You can have everything you want in life, if you believe…

Money

Making money is one of the easiest things we do. Yet, people use it as a measuring stick to see how well they are doing versus other people. That’s pointless! When you start to compare yourself with others, you rob yourself of so much.

Keep money in perspective. It’s simply our method of paying our bills, but more importantly money is a tool we can use to do good. Be good, and spread goodness. Money will look different to you when you do…
