Now!

We live in what I call a, “FedEx culture.” I want it immediately. Personally , I’m impatient. I want it yesterday!

That’s not how life works. We must commit to working for what we gain. Sometimes it takes a long time to achieve our goals. The hurry up lifestyle will affect our thinking if we aren’t careful.

Drug Culture

Every third television commercial is about a drug. The pharmaceutical industry is consistently among the top three in monies spent on lobbying. A wellness physician I know told me that when he recommends small changes a patient should make for better health, ninety percent of the the time patient asks for a drug remedy.

It’s time to change our thinking about artificial solutions that don’t require work. We have most everything we need in our bodies to ward off disease. Let’s use them…

p.s. I am not talking about people who are mentally ill and need psychotropics. It’s not their fault.

Life will always be unpredictable. It is our responsibility to ensure we don’t allow the unknowns in life to set our mood. If we do, our emotions will feel like a rollercoaster. Up sometimes, down the other.

Our Creator gave us free will over one thing: our attitude. Let’s keep ours focused on our one true north. The unknown events of our lives will keep coming, but our attitude about how we adapt and handle them doesn’t have to change…
