Thoughts

What was going through your mind right before you decided to read this? Maybe your plans for today, Christmas shopping, something that is troubling you, or perhaps you were thinking about your family. The point is, you were thinking something.

We have control over our thoughts. That’s right! We get to decide what to think. And if we believe our thoughts, then they manifest into the world.

Focus on thinking about what you want in your life. Believe it to be true. Then watch it happen…

Dangerous Prayer

Do you want to know the most dangerous prayer you can offer? It’s a simple two words: “Use me.” God answers that one every time! And there’s usually not much waiting time between saying the words and God putting you into action.

Prayer has power. And I want you to remember this: God will not put you in a position to harm you. He will use us to accomplish His work on earth and it will glorify Him.

Live dangerously. Pray the prayer…

Romance

Romance is fun and exciting, isn’t it? But it’s torture during those periods of pain. The reason there’s pain is because you care.

Relationships aren’t always happy and free of care. They can be messy. Other people can bring out the best in us, and sometimes the worst. Selfish behavior on our part makes us unreasonable and hard-headed. So how do we make certain we are being loving and kind, even when we don’t feel like it?

Let’s consider the words of The Apostle Paul when he wrote, “Love is patient and kind. It does not envy, does not boast, and it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

The word of God has power. Revere it, believe it and practice it…
