Comfortable
Many people talk about moving out of their comfort zone, but how many actually do it? That takes faith, wisdom, and discernment that you are on the right path.
If your motives are true, right and noble, you are going the right direction. And remember, growth only comes in the discomfort zone…
Ask!
Are you fulfilled in your life? If you answered yes, congratulations! But if your answer is no, you have the power to change your life.
A fulfilling life has nothing to do with money. It’s about service. Serving others changes you. There’s something magical and unexplainable about the feeling you get when you do something for someone who can never repay you.
If you aren’t getting all you want from life, ask for more. Then go do the work…
Dirt
The National Enquirer was founded in 1926 as a legitimate news source, but subscriptions didn’t take off until the late 1950’s when the publication morphed into a sensational tabloid. It seemed The Enquirer had found it’s niche.
Why is there an appetite for getting the dirt on famous people’s lives? They are just like you and me with families, friends, struggles, successes and heartache. Perhaps we like to focus on the lives of others so we don’t have to look at ourselves. Or maybe we empathize with their plight and realize, they are just like us.

Education
Be a lifelong learner. Read great books, explore art and culture, and listen to others…really listen. Everyone wants to be seen and heard. We can learn something from everyone…
Schemes
There are no “get rich quick” or “lose weight without diet or exercise” plans. These offer results without requiring any real effort on our part.
Real satisfaction comes from earning your way through life. Yes, it is challenging to lose weight and get toned, but it’s possible. You can do anything you set your mind to. You just have to want it…
Facts Matter
There is so much disinformation out there, it’s a challenge to discern what is true and what is not. The truth matters. Not “my truth” which has become a pop culture saying. The truth.
When you hear or read something that gives you a visceral reaction, ask yourself some questions: is it important? Do I need to check it out to verify it? Will it affect my life if it is true?
Considering that time is precious, we must limit how much attention we give to the unimportant. Sometimes this includes people…
Shiny Toys
When your covet the next cool new thing, it only leads to dissatisfaction and disappointment.
There’s nothing wrong with wanting nice stuff, nothing at all. Having a nice home, eating at great restaurants and going to wonderful resorts for vacation is part of why we work.
When getting more and more becomes our god, then we have replaced the real God with idols. Keep your focus on things above. He will provide what we need…
