Live your life in alignment with solid values. Doing what’s right never goes out of style. Do not concern yourself with the judgment of others. They will be critical no matter how much good you accomplish. But other people have no authority over you.

Such good advice. We all so quickly can fall into the old judgmental trap of my parents generation: “What will the neighbors think.” Who cares what other people think as long as you are doing the right thing.
