Obstacles are defined as “a thing that hinders progress.” The biggest obstacle we possess is between our ears. When we are in pursuit of a worthwhile goal, we hear voices telling us we aren’t good enough, questioning what our friends will say, reminding us culture says we should try to fit in and not stand out, guilt-tripping us into submitting to what others want for our lives.
