Always in Style

The music from the 1960’s and 1970’s was some of the best ever written and produced. James Bond is always cool. Men wear white shirts after 5:00, and thank God the disco-era clothes didn’t last! But there are some intangibles that never go out of style.

Kindness is always welcome. So is meekness. Meekness gets a bad rap. People believe a meek person is weak. Far from it. Meekness means “strength under control.” Good manners aren’t noticed so much until you witness someone with bad manners. Standing up for the weak is both respected and revered. Doing what’s right when you are standing alone is in the mix, too.

Our outer appearance is what people see, but our clothes and hairstyles don’t tell the whole story. The heart of man is what matters. All the other stuff is fluff.

Stay true to yourself, to who you are, no matter the crowd. Let your guard down to reveal your true self. Your clothes might be from a different era, but if your heart is right nobody will notice them. Others won’t remember what you wear, but they will remember the impact you made on them…
