Recently I read an alarming statistic: Over 85% of adults in the U. S. don’t like themselves. Eighty five percent. Without going into all the data to back this claim, I accept it to be accurate.
This begs a question. Who do you see when you look in the mirror? Do you see a flawed human being, with ugliness inside and out, or do you see God’s creation? I encourage you to see yourself as the latter.
We cannot fully accept others until we have a healthy self-acceptance. You know your personal character defects, and only you can change them. Working on ourselves is the hardest thing we will ever do, but it’s so worthwhile…
