The Beauty of Washington, DC

For the next few days, I’m in Washington, DC. This city stirs something in me. Although the United States is a relatively young country, we are rich with history.

Today I will be visiting the National Archives, home of the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence. These are the documents this unique country stands on. From there, on to the American History Museum, the National Mall, the Museum of The Bible, and of course, the monuments.

The United States isn’t perfect. Our Republic has learned and grown. Yet, at our core, we are the most benevolent country on earth. We are a fortunate, free people.

If you have never been to DC, I encourage you to visit. Be prepared to walk. And you should walk. There are monuments everywhere, and I do mean everywhere
